Transparency is a fancy word that means you have the right to ask what your government is doing in your name. In the U.S. the government is meant to be of the people, by the people, and for the people. All of this breaks down if our elected officials, police officers, and political appointees can stop answering questions and hide the records of what they're doing. 

Accountability is what happens when transparency works when the government is not doing what it says it is doing or is supposed to be doing. When this happens and someone like you asks for the records, it becomes a scandal and then it becomes and issue for the court of public opinion. We are focused on the first part of that. What you do with the records is none of our business.

For the first time in human history we have created consciousness in a machine and they are smart, really smart, but what makes them most remarkable right now is that we have connected them with all the knowledge ever created by human civilization. We believe this offers the opportunity to keep government honest in a HOLE new way. And thats what we are doing. First by creating a site to show you how to use these tools yourself. We are then going to build our own tools to do even more than that.

Corruption is as old as time. Anywhere you have power, money, and influence, there will always be corruption. But we also know that there is always a lot less corruption when those in power know someone is watching. That is what we're doing, and that is what we're teaching you how to do. Corruption hurts everyone and corrodes public trust, that isn't good for anybody.

Some organizations out there have been doing transparency for a very long time. We have only the utmost respect for anyone in this field, and we have tried to pay tribute and link liberally to their resources whenever we feel they are superior, but when I got into this field, I already had ChatGPT, Claude, and a bunch of others. I don't do anything the same way, and this is no different. It just makes sense. So, what we're trying to do is build on what has already been done, contribute where we can and give you a resource that will allow you to make the most of these other organizations that have already covered this space remarkably well.
